2. General information
Protecting your personal data matters to me – especially because coaching often touches on very personal topics. I only process personal data where this is necessary to run this website, to answer your enquiries or to provide coaching, or where you have given your consent. The legal bases are in particular Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent), Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (contract and pre-contractual steps), Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR (legal obligation) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interests).
3. Hosting
This website is hosted by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Str. 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany. When you visit the website, IONOS processes technically necessary data to deliver the pages and keep the website secure and stable. This includes:
- the previously visited website (referrer)
- the page or file requested
- browser type and version
- operating system
- device type
- time of access
- your IP address in anonymised form
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. My legitimate interest is the secure and reliable provision of this website. I have concluded a data processing agreement with IONOS in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR. More information: https://www.ionos.de/terms-gtc/terms-privacy
4. SSL/TLS encryption
For security reasons, this website uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by "https://" in your browser's address bar.
5. Cookies and consent
On your first visit, this website shows a cookie banner where you can decide whether to allow analytics services. Your choice is saved in a technically necessary cookie (gox_cookie_consent) so that the banner does not appear on every page. The legal basis for this cookie is Section 25(2) no. 2 of the German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act (TDDDG) in conjunction with Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
No analytics services are activated without your consent. You can withdraw or change your consent at any time with effect for the future by opening the cookie settings again via "Konfigurieren".
6. IONOS SiteAnalytics
If you have given your consent, I use IONOS SiteAnalytics, a statistics service provided by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Str. 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany. The data is collected solely for statistical analysis and the technical optimisation of this website. SiteAnalytics does not use cookies; data is collected via a pixel or a log file. The following is recorded: the previously visited website, the page or file requested, browser type and version, operating system, device type, time of access and your IP address in anonymised form (used only to determine the approximate location). It is not possible to identify individual visitors.
The legal basis is your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Section 25(1) TDDDG. More information: https://www.ionos.com/help/data-protection/data-processing-of-website-visitors-of-your-ionos-product/data-processing-by-siteanalytics/
7. Google Analytics
If you have given your consent, this website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies to analyse how the website is used. Your IP address is shortened. Data may be transferred to servers of Google LLC in the USA. Google LLC is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. The legal basis is your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Section 25(1) TDDDG. More information: https://policies.google.com/privacy
8. Contact form
If you contact me via the contact form, I process the information you enter (name, email address and message) in order to answer your enquiry and, if you wish, to arrange a discovery call. Your message is sent to me via the IONOS servers.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your enquiry relates to coaching; otherwise it is your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, which you give by ticking the checkbox and can withdraw at any time.
Please only share what is needed for a first contact. We can talk about personal topics, such as grief or health, confidentially in our conversation.
9. Contact by email or phone
If you contact me by email or phone, I process your details (for example your name, email address, phone number and the content of your enquiry) to deal with your request. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in answering enquiries).
10. Online coaching and discovery calls
Coaching sessions and discovery calls can take place online, for example via Zoom, Microsoft Teams, WhatsApp, FaceTime or by phone. We agree together which tool to use. The provider of that tool processes connection and communication data under its own privacy policy. I do not record sessions unless we have expressly agreed this in advance. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
11. Links to other websites and social networks
This website contains simple links, for example to LinkedIn or to my website English-Fit. These are not embedded plug-ins: no data is transferred until you click a link. The privacy policies of the respective providers apply to the linked websites.
12. How long data is kept
I only keep personal data for as long as is necessary for the relevant purpose. Enquiries that do not lead to coaching are usually deleted no later than six months after our communication ends. Data from a coaching contract is kept for as long as statutory retention periods require (in particular tax and commercial retention periods of up to ten years for invoices).
13. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right at any time to:
- access the personal data stored about you (Art. 15 GDPR)
- have incorrect data corrected (Art. 16 GDPR)
- have your data deleted (Art. 17 GDPR)
- restrict processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
- data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
- object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21 GDPR)
- withdraw your consent with effect for the future (Art. 7(3) GDPR)
A short message to daphne@focus-lifecoaching.de is enough.
